Jordan

Founder

Jordan brings 15 years of sales and entrepreneurial experience as Genuine Comfort’s founder and CEO. His past business failures taught him many lessons which eventually led to the founding and immediate success of Genuine Comfort (originally H&C Air Conditioning).

 He continues to elevate the business by focusing on the team and leading with exemplary stewardship by embodying the company’s core values.

Dean

Chief Operating Officer

Dean has joined our team in May of 2024 and brings with him over 20 years of executive leadership experience driving significant growth and capability improvement to the organizations he has led. His experience spans numerous industries, companies, functions and international markets, and includes a strong focus on strategic planning, operational excellence and execution as well as exceptional customer experience. 

 

In his recent career, Dean has led two organizations to successful sales of the business, delivered two effective performance turn arounds, and significantly helped an organization grow from $10M to $80M in three years. His mandate and dedication at Genuine Comfort will focus on capability improvement, leadership and team development, operational excellence, customer delight, and ultimately the successful attainment of the company’s vision and goals.

Allan

Director of Supply Chain

Allan joined the company in October 2022 and brings over 15 years of management experience.

He has a passion for developing high-performing teams and fostering an environment of excellence. Allan brings experience in supporting fast-paced company growth by utilizing project management principles while building strong relationships with cross-functioning teams and customers.

Adnane

Financial Controller

Adnane has joined the GC team in May 2021, and he became the company’s youngest executive member.

He earned a bachelor’s degree of business administration from France and majored in Finance and Accounting at the University of Manitoba. After a short experience in a public accounting firm based in Winnipeg, he was able to transition from an Accounting Manager role to head of the finance department as a Financial Controller.

His bilingual profile contributed to de-risking his department through two corporate acquisitions and to achieving the company’s goals and vision.

Derek

Director of Product

Derek Pilling has been a dedicated professional in the PTAC industry since 2007. At Genuine Comfort, he has developed a prominent brand and various model series of PTAC/PTHP and Room Air Conditioner products. In his previous roles, Derek has been instrumental in developing PTAC/PTHP, mini splits, water source heat pumps, and room air conditioner products, showcasing his versatility and expertise across different HVAC systems.

Derek specializes in PTAC/PTHP products and is deeply passionate about their innovation and improvement.

Before joining Genuine Comfort, Derek served as the president of NRG Equipment, another PTAC company. His extensive experience spans all aspects of the business, including logistics/warehousing, install/service, project management, sales, procurement, and product development. This comprehensive background gives him a profound understanding of the product lifecycle.

Derek is committed to delivering quality and efficiency in the products he develops while maintaining cost expectations for customers.

In his spare time, Derek enjoys working out in his home gym, taking pride in his near-perfect lawn, and finding fulfillment in vegetable gardening.

Daniel

Director of Sales

Daniel joined the company in September 2024. With a unique blend of individual sales expertise and strategic leadership, Daniel has a proven track record of building and guiding high-performing teams while fostering an environment where future leaders can thrive.

Throughout Daniel’s career, his focus has always been on empowering others, helping them see that sales is both an art and a science, and equipping them with the tools they need to excel. He thrives on the challenges and constant evolution within business development, crafting strategies that drive growth and innovation.

A passionate speaker and coach, Daniel connects with people through keynotes and TED Talks, inspiring them to embrace the best version of themselves. When not building relationships (and making jokes at his own expense), Daniel can often be found hiking with his loyal dog, Mira.
